I'm not sure if its been brought up before or not.. but I was in lowes today so I figured i'd check on prices of plexiglass for a window.. when I was in there I was talking to a guy and he said somethinga bout there being a lot of static when you pull the stuff off the sides of the plastic.. is that something to worry about? is there a way to get rid of it or anything?

plus, what would be the best means of cutting the plastic? er, best for a low price that is.

I have an acrylic window that was premade when I bought one of those x-dreamer cases. Acrylic naturally holds static electricity more than other kinds of plastics. As a result, dust often collects on the inside of the window. I get rid of it by using that anti-static bounce stuff that people use on clothes. It's not a huge problem though, not like you get globs of dust.

Tact cloth? That's what I use. I got a cheap jigsaw at Walmart for $20, haven't used it yet for window mods but I would say that if I can cut aluminum cases I would think it could cut plexi.
Good place for plexi: http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/default.asp
12x12 @ 1/8 plexi for $1.85 but shipping is like $5.

how would you go about attaching the window to the case, my current and quite stupid raidmax case window is attached by rivet type screws, ive seen that rubber molding stuff, which looks like what i would use to make my new window, ive also heard about people glueing and tapeing their windows on...
