i run annywhere form 85-97 ferenheit in my case
is this bad for my drives?
i have 7 hidk drives
4 in raid
 
That's not bad. I really have to scratch my head, though, you can take physics or any EE course and learn why heat is bad, but then I've never had heat-related failure or damage, or noticeably shortened equipment lifespan. Perhaps this halving of lifespan cuts the drive electronics span from 10 years to 5, after I've usually put it to pasture. Given that I'm still using a number of 6-7 year-old drives in computers I manage, which run at 120F, I can't really say for sure.
 
anything under 105 will not lead to premeture failures
most of the testing for reliability is done at 110-120
