Case temp sensor

I have an aerogate 2 temp sensor, was wondering where I should put the sensor for getting the entire case temp? I should I put it on top off the otter 5'25 bays (like an inch from the glass panel) ? I have a lian li pc-60b plus
 
Mine is taped to my PSU and hanging a little bit from it. Haven't had any problems... as to the best place to put it, just do what you think is best I guess.
