Case suggestion, smaller but not mATX

Im looking for something to build a conroe gaming box with. I already have a P180, but its a huge PITA to even TRY to move, much less take to a lan party. So heres what Im looking for:

full spec ATX mobo
2-4 5.25"
opt 1x front 3.5"
2-3x int 3.5"
aluminum materials required!
front/rear 120mm fans

plenty of room for cooling
prefer a top mount 120mm fan
would prefer but doubt I can find one with a reverse case layout (PSU on the bottom)

Anything fit those desires?
 
If you're hauling this around to LAN parties, it's gonna take a bit of a beating in any case, so you may not want to spring for something as nice as a Lian-Li. Newegg has a nice search function--I came up with this list you may or may not find something on there that works...

The positioning of the PSU on both of those is terrible.

I believe there was a case with a 250mm fan that was really small. The PSU mounted up front, to save space. Still bad positioning, but not as bad as the LL. I think it was called the iCute Coolive or something stupid like that...

I agree - The LanParty is great case if you're looking for portability. Not too bad in terms of price either...
 
try this...

its 16.6"(H) x 7.8"(W) x 16.5"(D)
16.8" (H)x 18.3" (D)x 8.2" (W)

normal ATX mid towers are
17.5" x 7.5" x 17.3" (D x W x H)

so the atx mini tower is a little smaller than a mid tower, and it fits a full ATX mobo,


and your case is:
21.3"(H) x 8.1"(W) x 19.9"(D)

so the atx mini is a lot smaller than your current case...

I made a thick canvas bag for porting my Lian Li. Works like a charm.

The PSU on the Lian Li PC-V600 draws air from outside the case and exhausts out the rear. The only limiting factor caused here is that it limits your CPU heatsink's size. I've seen some pretty good size HSF's mounted in there still.
 
More than likely, mounting something like a Zalman 7000 in the Lian-Li will be no issue, I don't know if the 7700 would fit.....

Either way, get something deep and short. Wide doesn't really matter. Then get yourself a decent luggage on wheels. That's how my friends do it. That's how I would do it if I didnt carry 2 servers, one game desktop, and a 37" LCD to the LAN every month. For me, a simple 250lbs luggage cart makes more sense(I move everything in two loads).
 
if you get a nice case and want to take it to lan parties, just keep the box, and the styrofoam inserts.
there's nothing like the packaging it came in to protect your case.

I used to use an 8 year old generic steel case, it worked great with rear exaust and blowhole fans I modded into it. I even added front usb.

but in the end it just took too much of a beating. I bought a lian-li pc-g50 for lanning, and it is not going to get damaged.
