Think I'm getting ready to put another rig together, and open to suggestions on a new case. Really the only requirement is it's ATX. I'm going to be using air cooling, so no need to consider room for a WC setup. What are your thoughts on a small case with good airflow? (p.s. i hate the Antec 300/900/1200 look). I think I've looked through the Newegg selection about a dozen times and just can't seem to find one that I like. Any other sites out there with decent custom cases, a la moutainmods.com?

crazjayz, PC-A05 have one big flaw - the airflow (without blowhole). That's why i'm saying PC-60F/PC-7F - those cases have good airflow, plus the PSU is on the bottom... Ideal "cheap" Lian Li cases.

Yea, I love the look of the A05, and that's what I've been leaning towards. But I'm not going to put a mid tier setup in it, it's going to likely be a 4890, dual velociraptor, and P2 955 setup. I don't mind drilling a blowhole, but is that going to be enough, or am i playing with fire? (literally ;p)

I know that's their major flaw. If you want to keep the "stock" look of an a05, the BS-08 exhaust is 1 way to do it.

Anyone have one of the newer A-05N's with the 120mm fan up front too? thinking of getting that one, and then possible adding the blowhole if needed.

Only slight differences between the a05s/b and the a05N, the largest being the removable top panel. And what do you mean by the 120mm fan up front? The a05 has that too, if you mean the fan in front of the HDD cage.

oh it does? didn't realize that. Guess the specs are off on newegg, just says 1 x 120mm fan there.
