Case Strap

I've had both the sunbeam and the Geargrip one and to be honest I preferr the hookup system and strap of the Geargrip, feels more solid. The Sunbeam is a great bag for longer transports, (protects sides really well,) but you have to remove it to use the PC, (the Geargrip dependant on case design,) can be left on.

Word of note on the Sunbeam shoulder strap; the anchors aren't the best manufactured, a bud's case took a tumble on concreet because one of the latches sheered in half.

I've also got another case, (server case,) that has hard mounted handles which also works well, (if your using a SFF it might be easier); and dependant on which ones you go with could make the case look really sharp.

I've used the GearGrip LT strap, its a great product. I've hoisted a chenming dragon case as well as a lian-li pc7b to many a lan party without any problems.

Yeah i know alot of people that use the normal case size strap thats made by that same brand. I was just wondering if the SFF version would fit a lanbox is all. I do appreciate the help btw,.

What was your buddy doing that sheered the latch? I've owned one of these for 4 years, used it to move my PC dozens of times, then gave it to my girlfriend who uses it to bring her PC down to my apartment 2-3 weekends a month and the only thing that has worn is the fabric around the velcro for closing the side pockets. I was a little skeptical about the strap myself so most of the time I'll put the strap on my shoulder but keep my hand on the handle to keep the case from swinging around too much, but I've used it many times with just the shoulder strap and it has held up fine.

To the OP, honestly I didn't see what case you were wanting to use this on. I saw LanBox and my head thought LanBoy - http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=15001
