I'm looking for some case stand solutions. I have a nice black Silver stone tower and sadly it's on the floor. Are there non crap case stands out there or other ideas for using stuff as a case stand?

thanks

How far off the floor are you looking to put it?

Mine is currently sitting on a bookshelf next to my desk, (when I'm in the office.) I've also got a lan center in my basement where I bulit a set of shelves above the desktop for cases to sit, keeps you from kicking it, allows space to fit more people and puts everyone's case on display. ;)

Yeah, I dunno. Maybe just a few inches. I suppose a feature of the stand would be that it is somewhat stylish and that it digs into the carpet decently, although i assume that would happen pretty easy with a heavy case sitting on top. So yeah, shiny and black and sorta pyramid shaped, yeah, what do you have in that?

I bought a $50 stand thing from target. It looks fancy and you can use it with or without casters. I forgot to bring it in to the house so no pics. If you want pics lemme know and i'll take them when i get it setup.

You know what would look sharp? Get some granite tile at like Floor & Decor and have it cut to size, roughly 4 inches beyond the edge of your case. Looks like a pedestal.

I did this with floor standing speakers years ago, makes a good convo piece too.

They're not that high of course, but it'll look pimp.

do you have picture of your pedestal? i like the idea

I don't have any pics of my setup from before. I mainly did it to isolate sound due to having concrete under the carpet in my apartment and was trying to see how the little needle feet of my speakers did on granite vs. concrete. Now I have hardwood and it clashed :)

Granite won't scratch your case since you hopefully have little feet on your case?

Granite says cool, but I don't think you have heat transfer from your desk to your case at all.

ah. No, feet are too girly for the TJ07. Its single piece machine bent aluminum has slightly extruded edges which bend around the bottom to form the base of the case. It's ballsy, but would probably scratch. I'll have the pretty target deal home tonight.

You could get some pimpin huge casters for your TJ07 to ride on, that should elevate it enough.
