Hi,
Just in a bit of a pickle at the moment and cant figure out what to do for a case for my new machine. I recently got new desks at home and im hoping to keep the box under the table so its a bit neater. My current case is a Coolermaster Centurion 5 (480mm deep) which is a very snug fit (have to move it to open the dvd tray
) The gap is about 540mm
The new box im looking at getting in the next few weeks or months will house preferably one of the new 5xxx or 3xx series ati or nvidia cards.
Question is if I go for a similar sized case or even a smaller case will it all fit? My current 8800GTX is a very slim fit for the case, and ive been told that current gen cards are bigger (I cant seem to find dimensions for what size video card cases can support on any sites.
Im even looking at smaller cases such as Coolermaster Elite 360 which is 440mm deep. Drive bays arnt really important as the new computer will probably just have 1 SSD as all my other non-essential files are stored on my nas. If anyone has any suggestions or if I should not bother wasting time trying to get everything to fit in the gap under my new desk.
