i'm thinking about building a sff but i was wondering if i can fit a x1900xt in a SG-01E. and can i use the NT06 or big typhoon in the case?

yes any videocard except the X1900AIW will fit (even that might fit, not sure). And no the typhoon wont fit, but any silverstone cooler will.

the NTO6 is pretty much made for the case...it works great...you can get the short cabled PSU with it too

i read some reviews that the SI-120 performs better than the NT06. any idea if the SI-120 will fit in the SG01?

With a little bit of effort you could have found it for yourself:
SG01-Evolution compatibility notes:
- CPU cooler cannot exceed 78mm in height
- The combined depth of power supply and optical drive cannot exceed 355mm

Dimension:

L135x W125 x H90 (mm) Heat sink only, without fan

The XP-120 will fit. I tried that cooler (without fan) before the NT06 was available but the gap between te cooler and the 120mm fan of the PSU was to large to cool the CPU enough. Maybe the SI-120 (and XP-120) with fan will perform better then the NT06. But for the SG01, the NT06 with a PSU with 120mm fan is the best noiseless solution.
