Case Questions

Not too sure about the thermal sensor but I will hazard a guess that it has a thermal probe and a power hookup. Put the thermal probe on what you want to monitor, and plug the power into an appropriate looking molex form your PSU.

The LEDs will also have a power lead.

It may be possible all these leads are bundled up and stuffed somewhere, like inside the front bezel or behind the drive cages where you can't see them. Look around, pull the front bezel off and see what you can find.
