I've been looking for a new matx case to use, anyone have a suggestion or pic? Looking for a sleek case to sit ontop of my desk. Thanks :)
 
What components do you need to fit in there (i.e. matx, but how many HDD's, what length GPU, ODD?, etc)
 
Just use it to surf the web nothing crazy and watch Netflix on my 23" dell. Already have the matx board and cpu, just need a case/hdd/psu. Where do I post about help with a desk?
 
So, just mobo, cpu, ram, hdd, case, and psu? No graphics card, sound card, or optical (CD/DVD) drive?

What are your goals? Maximum quiet, smallest case, something cheap, just something that looks smooth? What's your budget?

i just got a hacked up matx system, so technically i have everything just upgrading i guess you could say.. the case is trash the hdd is tiny, has onboard video and sound which i think will be fine for netflix?

What are your goals? Maximum quiet, smallest case, something cheap, just something that looks smooth? What's your budget?
a small quiet sleek pc :) right now the psu is the loudest thing on it.

What exactly do you have right now (if it's a pre-built system, what's the model #)? If it's something decently modern (sandy/ivy) it will be fine for netflix w/ the onboard stuff.

If you need space for a CD/DVD optical drive, that changes the options significantly, so do you need one? If you don't need one, check out the Antec ISK-110 cases and snag a 2.5" HDD or SSD. That's pretty sleek :D
 
Isn't the isk110 a mitx case? My cpu is a amd x2 260 and a biostar matx board. I know not the best but it works for my needs. I have to load windows somehow.. Maybe a dvd drive that's it. The lian li v300 was the last case I liked when I was still up to date, any like it now?

hahaha, yeah, you're right, my bad... I've had mitx on my brain all day :p
 
now that i look at it, its a little taller than i thought, i dont really need three bays on the front just one should do. hmm
 
Those aren't the best looking cases I've seen but they are smaller. I wish I could find a older lian li v series case, I loved those.
 
I like the shorter ones better than the taller ones like those. ie the older shuttle pc's
 
That ft03 is nice now that I look at it.. It's a little more than I want to spend though :/
