This thing has been done for a long while, it's waiting to go to it's rightful home and i haven't taken final pics yet so thats all you get. It's ATX spec, knobs control the fans, headphone jack is a fakey, one knob is a reset button, and the VU-meter ticks to the hdd....thats about it. There's no point in telling you hardware specs because I'm not putting my hardware in it, except for show. The case isn't for me so I made it noob proof and I'm not improving it anymore because I only had so much $$ for it. :D... just in case yer gonna tell me to make it better. :p

COOL!

My Dad had a Marantz reciever years ago! Looked alot like what's left there after your mods.

Ah, the memories.... :)

very nice dood, i had one of those old 70's type units before, shame i threw it out, it woulda been nice to mod

Just incase anybody is interested, I would be willing to sell mine for ~ $100. It works, and is in good condition, but anybody here who would buy it would probably just rip its guts out anyways. :p

I also have a couple of Pioneer recievers of the same vintage, that might be cool as case mod fodder.

Very nice... I love seeing mods like this. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy... well not really but it IS a fresh breath of air.

Makes me want to go pull out an old tape deck out of the garage... Technic I think it is.

Son of a bitch! I'm not quite finished with my "computer inside a piece of old stereo equipment" mod yet, and you go and post this one.

Here's some in-progress shots with a crappy digicam...
