Case or Mobo issue

Hey i was wondering if anyone else has experienced this i have the DFI DK P45-T2RS and the Lian-Li V2110b case. The problem is that the HDD LED on the case is not lighting up. Is it possible that the led is broke? or could it be the mobo? has anyone else experienced anything with this setup?
 
The led could be broken, but I don't think this is very likely. More likely is that you connected the led inversely. Leds have a polarity and won't work when you connect them the other way around. If not, you can always swap power and hdd led on your mobo to test if it's the led or the mobo that is broken.
