Case of a certain style

I have been looking for the past week or 2 for a case to replace my stacker 830, I originally was going to go with a smaller case, but I decided although doable it would require me to switch back to air cooling. So I decided to just address my noise problem with the new case. I really like the style of the Lian Li v1000/1200, Lian Li tyr pc-x500, and the Silverstone TJ07. As the the Lian Li v1000/1200 series is out of production and doesn't support a 240 rad with out modification (which wouldn't be a problem) and the other 2 are $300+ which isn't really a problem but I have a hard time parting with that much cash for a case. So I come to you all with this, How is it possible to justify that much for a case. If that isn't possible maybe you could make a suggestion to a sub $250 alternative, keep in mind I prefer all or mostly aluminum cases.

I did look at that case, but I can get a x500 for that price, and the tax and shipping kills it.

The x500 can only fit 11" long video cards. I wouldn't consider that case for the money.
Corsair 800D or Cooler Master ATCS 840 is a better case for what you want to do.

I have seen the gigabyte case in person, I think they are ugly and they are no where near as good build quality as lian li cases

i have owned a gigabyte case, i now own 2 lian li cases. the gigabyte case is built as good or better. it is built as good as my v1000b plus 2 w, and better than my a05b. this is from experience, not "seeing" one or "doubting " the veracity of someone elses statement based on no prior knowledge of a gigabyte case. so why do you doubt the gb case is not built better than a lian li? just for start, the aluminum the chassis is built with is much, much thicker than a lian li.

I like the Corsair 800D it just seems to big for me, and there is just something about the Cooler Master ATCS 840 I don't like. Am I just being too picky about my case?

absolutely not. you have to live with it, build in it and look at it every day. try to make sure you get something that fits your reqs. dont compromise. you can get good quality cases from about $75 up, depending on budget. if i were to buy a big case now, i would either get a cm storm sniper, or a silverstone raven rv02. i like the black interiors, sniper has nice fan setup, as does raven.

I got my x500 for 155 from mwave. it was refurbished but there isn't anything wrong with the case. in the process of modding it now. I was gonna get the v1200 but this actually turned out to be cheaper and it is more original IMO.

Price really isn't a concern of mine, but I have been having a had time finding a x500 at all, as it is a discontinued case.
