Does anyone know how to properly create blowholes in the computer case? And which should it be blowing air in or out? Can someone point me in the right direction? I have the Antec Aria case and I want to drill 2 blowholes, I need to know the proper placement of the blowholes and which should be intake and which will be outtake for better cooling.

As far as cutting them, just figure out the size fan you want and go to Home Depot or the like and find a metal hole saw blade with a pilot according to your fan size selection. Grab some masking tape while your at it.

1.Tape the entire area you want to cut

2.Place your fan over the area, trace the inside of the fan (blades will turn as your tracing) with a pencil

3.Mark the exact center of the hole you traced,

4.Grab your drill attached with your new holesaw blade, center the pilot over the center mark and pull the trigger.

Make sure you apply a even pressure and a consistant speed. Which leads me to tell you to try to use a drill with an adjustable speed so as to use a medium/high speed setting. You dont have to (ive done fine without) but it helps. You can also use a sabre saw or a greenlee hole punch.

As with placement I dont know a thing about SFF so im sure these guy's can help you out better than I can.

I dont see how it is even possible to make the degree go up :p , i mean i would automatically think that you have placed the two fans in a resonable place for air to pass through? Is there any chance of a pic showing where you have just cut the blow holes? if you havent put the holes in an appropriate place for the air to circulate through the case and out the designated exit's then i woulda said u should have asked for some advice on where people have put them before? or atleast where people think would be the best place for them on that antec, if the blow holes are blowing lots of air in to one place and there isnt anywherefor it to go it cant circulate and will just build up increasing the temperature, but im sure you know that allready, make sure you have nothing blocking the blow holes you made also.
