Case Mod - 'Downtown'

Hello, just wanted to share my little case mod project.

Started out with gutting the box and mocking up the light box.

Initial test successful! Onto the external facade.

Got some crafter's foam and started mocking up the outside.

Mockup done. Moving on to the little details.

Moved the HDD/Power lights to the roof as Aircraft Warning Lights. Re-mounted power & reset buttons on top too.

Time to tear down the case and paint.

Even stagged a little car mouse for it.

With most of the external work done I'm digging into the parts. Here's some stuff that arrived this week. Some of it is gear, some for taking better pictures.

CPU & memory are on order. Also looking into PSU & some cooling. Hoping to get it all sooooooooon. Can't wait!
