I have a black Wavemaster and I ordered a windowed side panel the other day. My mobo has a red LED and green LED that will barely show through the side, and the front has blue LEDs. What would you recommend for interior case lighting? Some blue LED fans or something?

cold cathode flourescent tube

CCFL's will give the most even light if you do it correcty, and that's what I'd recommend. LED fans generally do not provide as much light and placement is limited, which hampers what you can do with em

i'd say both of you got ripped off...but then again, it was just a sale. 2 12" UVccfls for 4.99, few bucks more for shipping, but i was ordering some other case modding supplies, anyway...

Well, I only need one. And I bet you didn't get a name brand and they have both faded to the amount of light of one ThermalTake. You bastard.

I'd pay $12 for one with a decently encased converter over some of those kits out there with shrink wrapped or exposed converters...

One thing I have noticed with some of the light kits. Some of the cathodes have a faded look. Make sure you can either see it light up, or if you can see comparisons to make sure you don't get that faded look. Red will look like pink, blue looks like its out of a newborn baby nursery. As much as the soft look might appeal to some, to others it can make a big difference. Luckily, my last light kits were on a blow-out deal from an out-of-business lan-cafe, so the dull lights don't bother me (they aren't even making it into the new case for the parts).
