So does it make any difference which specific brand of case fans I pick up for my new Lian Li PC-9F? It supports 3 120mm fans and I believe a 140mm (optional) fan on the top. Do you guys recommend any good quality cooling fans on this system that are not too loud but have good air flow? I am NOT over-clocking the CPU or GPU so the system shouldn't run that how to begin with.

Thanks for any recommendations.

to me, brand is irrelevant. althgouh I'm sure it can matter in the long term. I just look for the lowest cfm/dBs I can find.

I just pulled up the case, lian-li normally includes good fans. there shouldn't be a need to replace them.

if you're not adding a window, something like this: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2423/fan-109/SilverStone_SST-FM121_120mm_Case_Fan.html
but maybe cheaper. something you can adjust from quiet to loud if you go into gaming. (or just buy a fan controller)

for case fans it doesn't really matter. I wouldn't trust manufacturer's specs when buying though.

like Stick said the stock fans should be good on the lian li cases.

just remember if you do need to replace any horizontally mounted fans, try to stay away from sleeve bearing fans as they will wear out quickly in this orientation.

OK thanks. I just went to performance-pcs.com and picked up some Yate Loons as they've always ran great for me in the past and are decent in price.

**I will never ever do business with FrozenCPU.com. I received a faulty case some time ago and the guy I tried to RMA with called me a "spic" based on the name on the order just because I posted pics on [H].**
