today when i opened up my case i noticed that the two fans on my window weren't spinning. the weird thing was the LEDs were still lit up, so they are getting power. they're hooked up to a vantec nexus fan controller, but i don't think that is the problem because the top fan is also hooked up to that and it is working fine. i've reconnected the power cables and the fans still light up but will not spin. i find it hard to believe that both fans would die at the same time. any idea what the problem could be?

they both would have equal wear no? and how you know it hasnt been a few days since the first one stopped and then the second

oh oh i know what it is... are they all wired in series or parallel? if they are in parallel im willing to bet the fans will work if you unplug the fan thats not the same as the other two i bet that fan thats up top uses less current/power then the led fans do, if its a parallel circuit its going to give the same ammount of power to each fan, perhaps its not enough to spin the fans

does the fan spin when connected DIRECTLY to the PSU? check if there's dirt or hairs clog the fan and prevent it from spinning. Also try to increase the speed from the fanbus, coz some fan requires minimum voltage to run
