Hey!

I have a Thermaltake Tsunami case with a Hardcano fanbus. The front and rear fans have molex connectors as well as the fan speed sensor cable. I have the windowed model with a fan in the door an also a heavy duty 120mm on my XP120. Neither of these have the speed sensor cable.

Is there a way to wire the sensor cable to the existing molex on these 2 or will I have to look for fans with this already on?

If this cant be retrofitted can any1 recommend high cfm fans with the sensor cable included? 1x120mm and 1x92mm

There are actual wires that plug into the fan moter right next to the hub part, and if you can find a 3 pin (1 ground, 1 hot, 1 sensing) replacement with a 3pin mobo fittable end, then your golden.

Looks like this http://www.trianglecables.com/10in3pinmalt.html and then another cable to connect from that to the mobo header like this http://2cooltek.com/product_info.php?products_id=518 only with one input. I think thats the only way to get RPM sensing besides using another special cable and hooking ground and power to moltex and only RPM sensing to mobo. More complicated than you need it to be unless you have a high draw fan.

Thx bud.

Currently its setup with the 2 case fans having the 4 pin molex and the seperate 3pin sensor cable. The fanbus has 3pin header like a mobo but came with 2 x 3pin to molex converter with seperate sensor connection. I have this running the 2 case fans i mentioned. Its the side fan and the 1 on my HS I want to sort. The CPU fan is the 125cfm 120mmx38mm in my sig so I assume this is high draw....
