Recently I bought a pair of Silenex 120 mm case fans for my case. They are meant to replace two aging and dying loud as shit antec case fans that have been getting on my nerves. I thought the install would be simple. Well I screw them in, get them physicly set up and boom the computer boots but regardless of how they are plugged into the PSU they do not spin. They simply sit there. I thought maybe I didnt have enough power in my PSU so I plugged my old 3850 back in with my new 650w PSU (was using 430w before with 3850) and they still refuse to spin. What is the problem here its killing me!

Anyone? These fans were expensive and its killing me that I cant use them.
My temps are fine but I am trying to OC a lil and without better temps I cant do crap.

Are you sure the connections are secure and wires are not broken? do the fans spin with your finger rotating them?

Connections secure all other case fans work no problem. Every piece of hardware works. This is so irritating. I got on of the Silenex fans working but its spins at a very low rpm.

I can only tell you my experience. I purchased 8 fans at one time used only 6 of them threw the rest in a box for later on. later on took out the box grabed the two and they would not spin up. I mean nothing worked.

I looked on the back of the fans they where 24v fans I said to self what the *(#& I never ordered 24v fans.

My advice double check make sure they are 12v fans

Good luck
