Case Fan & Fan Controller ;P

Just placed an order (or will be in about a hour) for the Thermaltake HardCano 13 fan
controller and for 5 ThermalTake 80mm Smart Case Fan II.

Expensive, but they do look nice! At 48 db those fans will be loud at full speed but 75 CFM IS impressive for a 80mm fan! The cardreader is handy if you have PDA's or digital cameras.Does it have a feature to shutdown your computer if the temps go out of spec? Alarms are nice... but if you run your system when you are not around... flashing/buzzers are...

This version (That you never saw yet, wink wink) and the 631 and 633 models from Crystalfontz, will also control your fans (four fan header connections) and use more than 4 temperature probes (the 631 and the not released 635 use an expansion board called a "SCAB"), you would loose the card reader but would have a LCD screen that will display more than temps! Just an option..

temp out of control: bios

temp display: speedfan minimized

fan control: cheap controller, like sunbeam

speed monitoring: splitter cables to go into mobo and controller (like on the cheap zalman controllers)

the only reason i see for buying that is for aestetical appeal, and yes, it looks quite awesome.
