i plan on building a new computer for college in the next month and have been looking at cases. The Lian Li PC 65B and the Cooler Master Praetorian stand out. My favorite is the CM Praetorian but it has no window, I like it overall more, but the window is only in glossy black. i have read reviews in which the difference isn't really noticeable but in strong direct light. The PC 65B on the other hand comes iwth a matching window and looks ok imo. Should I settle for the 65B or get the one I want even though the window doesn't exactly match.

yes i could cut my own window but a) i dont trust myself doing it and b) i dont know of any precision places around here i would trust my case with for them to cut it for me

you don't really notice the color difference unless your looking for it.
but id say go lian-li

Well, I cant say anything about the PC-65, but my praetorian is awesome. I had a bit of a problem with the switches/LEDs on the front, but nothing a few minuites with a soldering iron couldn't fix. IMHO, the praetorian is much better looking than the PC-65, but they are both great cases.

i prefer the look and the front I/O ports of the Praetorian but.. the matching window of the Lian Li is nicer. So its a debate between looks and function. Both companies are known for their products, Praetorian has better access to front ports has better look... Lian Li has solid case nice window and with thumb screws.. BAH... Im leaning toward the Lian Li because its seemingly superiority though the front i/o ports aren't there.. but i think I could look past that,

though more thoughts and opinions would be appreciated

praetorian, IMO, looks a lot better. it is gonna be my next purchase.

for the window, i have one on my current case, and i've grown tired of it. windows arent all that great.

I'll throw in another vote for the Praetorian. The case is solid and has thumbscrews for both side panels and cards. I wasn't sure about cutting my own window either but I just decided to go ahead and do it. Now I just have to get my brother-in-law to give me back my tools...

does anyone here personally have the black praetorian and the wavemaster side on it?.. and culd igve feedback on how hard it is to tell the difference in finishes?
