Case Decision

With all these cases out there, I can't decide which one I should choose. I'll prolly get it from Performance-PCs since they can mod the top and side panels, but for links sake, I'll give the NewEgg product link. Now, what I'm looking for is a case with 120mm fan cooling, built well, and well, is a good case! And I'd also like a window on the side. With that said, heres the choices I have right now.

Right now, I have my eyes on the Antec P160 and the Silverstone TJ05...but im still considering these other choices...help me make up my mind! lol...thanks

but if you want me to choose from your options, id get the cheapest out of the Antec P160wf, the Lian Li V-1000w, and the Lian LI PC-V1200

I dont mind the look for the first and third silverstone cases you listed, but ive never come across a silverstone here in Australia, so Im not sure about their quality

btw, is the silverstone TJ05S-W a rebadged coolermaster.. or just a rip off?

Silverstone TJ03 is AWESOME, a cadillac of cases. but that new antec case does look awesome too, and it's BTX, which is another plus. but i don't know how much time it'll be before we can actually buy one... (think paper launches...) new lian-li's would be my choice - 1000 or 1200.

I would wait for the P-180

But if you dont want to, its a close call between the 7077A, or the v1000. Do you want space? For watercooling and such, if so get the 7077A, however, do you want just a nicely built and nice looking case? If so get the V1000

It really all depends on how much space you want, and how much money you got

hell, for those prices, why not get the Chenbro Gaming Bomb II?

i've got 'em for 210 + 10 shipping.

personally, it's a much higher quality case than most out there.

chenbro is a rip off cause the fans included are pieces of shlts.

i would go with tj05 if silverstone has solved that issue with hard drive cage not supporting SATA drives (have they?)
wouldn't wait for p180...why? because by the time that thing come, some other better case will be in developement and you'll just end up spending ur life waitng and waiting...new stuff will always come out.

No I wouldnt. I want the P-180 becasue of the 4 fans, and it looks nice, Unless a case is in the works that looks ALOT nice then the P-180, has 4 or more 12cm fans, and is cooler, then Ill still get the P-180

i am not saying u can't wait to get p180, but picture this situation:
1-3 years ago, most cases had only 80mm fans, and when a company makes a new case containing both 120mm intake and outtake fan, everyone plans to get it.
but look at the situation now. there are so many companies making cases with two 120mm fans and so many style selections, it's just unimagination a few years back.

same thing applies to p180, if the design is successful, lots of companies will be making 4 fan cases with different styles (and ofcourse, improvements)

scary thing is, this post shows how little you know about cases, case manufacturers, etc. Chenbro is one of the rare companies that actually designs AND manufacturers their own cases. Trust me when i say that compared to most, they're bullet-proof. I've got a P160 right now and compared to the GB2, it's nothing. *shrug*

see, i cycle through cases more than 1x per month. if something doesn't meet my fancy, i move on. i've actually dealt with chenbro on their server and commercial lines and they're fantastic. sure, the designs of various cases may be ass-ugly, but, considering they produce a lot of cases for a lot of different companies, i'm willing to bank on them a bit more. i've had no problem with any of their cases.

as for loud fans, grow up. swap 'em out and enjoy. geez.

u sir...have just ranted and proved my point? when did i say chenbro has sucky quality? chenbro is one of the best case manufacturers out there. but u would be lieing to urself if u think chenbro didn't rip people off with those crappy fans on a 200 dollar case (and no, i didnt say chenbro is crappy, i said those fans r, and they r made by a different company (sunon i think))

so u see? read my post carefully before jumping into an arguement (when there is none, cause u agreed the fans suck too) hot-headedly
