Case cleaning

Just wondering how often you guys clean your cases and how? What are some good ways to prevent dust from collecting inside?

i usually just use some canned air to get rid of any dust. if for some reason i take my components out i may give it a good wash or bust out a small vacuum. best ways to prevent dust in a case are using fan filters, contemplating the air pressure in your case, and not placing your case on the ground or on carpet.

I go thru all the comps once a month at least. I have foam inserts and added some on my chenbro case so it doesnt get too dusty inside.(just clean the vents and foam)

I personally clean mine every 3 months. I could probably do it more often, but I'm too lazy and work too much. I use the air cans as well, and a vaccum. Last time I did it my temperature dropped 10 degrees, it was really dusty, maybe because I do both, put it on the floor and with carpet. So yeah, like they said, get some filters, that should help. And I believe than cleaning it once a month like "Hagrid" is the best way to go.

i dont take my parts out.

it would be too much of a hassle, and with all my wire management, a royal pain.

i remove the front cover of my pc-7b II plus, and hit it all with a good air can, and wipe down the exterior of the case with some windex.

i do it every couple of months or so.
