Okay, I have narrowed my cases down to 4 different ones. I am Australian, so availability and pricing IS an issue compared to Americans. I mean, the BFG 6800 OC series just came in yesterday to Australia.

So my choices are (linked to the Egg for convienience)


Coolermaster Praetorian
Silverstone TJ06 Lian-Li PC-61
CM Stacker

1. Will an OCZ Powerstream work with the inverted motherboard in the TJ06?

2. Which is the best for a case built that is light, has good cooling, and will work well with air cooling?

3. These are all similar pricing ($200-$230 Australian Dollars) so which one?
 
I would imagine Lian-Li's come pretty cheap over there (so much closer to the factory). Why not a PC-V2000? Ok, ok, there not for everyone...but IMO, I dont like the looks of any of the cases you just mentioned except the Lian-li, and the Lian-Li you mentioned is old (the preortarian is oldschool last gen leftovers). Sorry. Well, ok, the Silverstone isnt bad, but it does that whole flip the mobo thing...but why not get the best one like that...the Lian-Li PC-V series (2000)? Or, if you like the bay-versatility of the CM Stacker, you should also look at the Lian Li PC-7077...an update on the 7-series that consists of a top-to-bottom bay area, 120mm fans, and that classic Lian-li look. And none of the compatibility issues that the Silverstone might give you.
 
The CM Stacker has the best cooling features by far but very heavy. I think the best all around would be the Praetorian.
 
I live in NZ and I wish that lian li cases were cheaper here than they are there but that, unfortunately, isn't true :( . I like the praetorian, nice and clean
 
Well, the PC-2000B is 2 times the price of the other ones, so that is out of the question.

Excuse me sir......the praetorian is not last gen left overs......get your facts right....its a really sleek, stylish case that is definately high end.
 
PRAETARIAN = ATC-201 crackrock...put down the pipe...not only is is last gen left-overs...it is last gen!
 
I think the praetorian looks the best out of those ones, but the TJ06 has the best cooling, correct? Will the OCZ Powerstream 520 work with the inverted motherboard design?
 
Which PSU do you use? I am wondering wether the 20 pin and p4 connector on an OCZ Powerstream is enough to get down to MOBO connectors.
 
are you missing something? " *hits moron* " is your only response? Got anything factual or will you admit that its the same old case? Same dimensions, same face, same specs....duh. And " *hits moron* is your best response? ubern00b15, you are a "master debater", aren't you?

Let me follow up by saying that my choice of cases would not be anything that relies on 80mm fans for cooling...90mm and 120mm is the only way to go for more air and less noise. All the cases but the Pretardarian use larger fans.

The Praetorian looks good, but are you saying that it's crap cause it's got an old design?
 
While the Praetorian may be very similar to the older case, the ATC-201 is one of the finest cases around. The Praetorian is my no means crap. I was so impressed with it that I'll never buy any other case but a CM again.
