Case Artwork Question

If I was to do some artwork on a case/laptop cover.. what would be the best way or tools to do this. I plan on doing anime/cartoon type of stuff, simple lines with some complex curves with only 3-4 colors. Or possibly would do simple outline with airbrush detail to color it.

I'd want to do the artwork then seal it from water/add some basic clear coat protection.

Or is there a way i could do it on the computer, take it to a place to get it on a transparency then somehow fuse it to the computer?
 
Theres a company that is called Poly GFX , they can take your artwork and transfer it to a Vynil decal that can cover your case or Laptop. I have seen reviews of there case skins and they have been very favorible. This would be your best bet sense it is not permenent yet will last a long time. The Skins will actually stretch so that curved surfaces and such are very little problem, you may want to watch there videos on installation so you can see how they mold it to the handles and such on a Dragon case.
 
I do case warps also. For a laptop it'd be about $10.00. For a desktop, it'd be about $20.
