I think the newer (top) one is better, but what media is it aimed at? It doesn't make a "call to arms" by giving me a reason to investigate further or any means to do so.
 
It's a nice looking picture overall, but I don't like the look and color of the Precision/Dedication/Outcome text.

Perhaps play around with a plumper font and color/tone.
 
I think the tranquil waterfall image is demolished by the heavily-modded case, it's going
to be tricky to make that case fit into any nature scene ... I'd rather use a cascade of
sparks from an angle grinder or welder, more industrial.

Oh and for the typography, peek at this. ;)
