What are some Pci-x cards that you can buy the vanilla versions or just a cheaper version, and unlock or flash the bios to make them into a GT,XT,PE..etc.
 
None that I have heard of but the X800pro VIVO AGP version unlocks to XT (I THINK it's only the AGP version).

I think they are all laser cut rather than softmodded. BTW- I'm kinda outa the loop these days so...

It would be nice to find one though.

Also, if you are looking for a card to OC to a new card level the 6800 with DDR3 ram might do it if you get a really good ram sample. And the 6800GT will go to Ultra speeds pretty easilly. The X800 XT will go to PE easilly.
