Card Upgrade

Ok, i am thinking of upgrade my Vid Card on my Main System, Specs in Sig.
Any idea's on what i should look into,
Also if a vid card is 16x, and i dont have an Express slot on my Mobo, can i still use it?

Cost really is not an issue for me, i make enough
But want to keep it under 500 if possible

With those certifications, you should know the hardware stuff and be able to answer your own question.

well then it depends on what u wanna play .. if u love doom 3 then get an ultra .. if u love half life 2 get an xt pe if u can find one or an xt would do it... or if u can find a x800 pro vivo then get that and flash it ..

if u wanna get a card that has good performance at a good price ... get the 6800 gt

it's all ,pretty much, up 2 u ...

ok thanks for the info, i am looking into an 6800gt, and maybe an x800, depends if i want to goto major gaming or not

generally the 6800GT is 'better' than the x800Pro...as hard as it is for me to say (<3 ati) but if you can flash it to a PE then the Pro VIVO would be alot better. but this is risky and you have the potentiality to temporarliy have no graphics card...

Right at this moment unless you can find an X800XT for less than $400 then i would just go the 6800GT
