Carbon Fiber case mods??

Anyone know of some cool real carbon fiber case mods? I was thinking that a front door for my case, or a fan grille, or the [H] would look sweet.

If no one knows of any places, does anyone here do custom carbon fiber work?

yea, it probably would be, but it's such a cool material, i may as well check it out. I woulnd't mind even a small case badge or mid size sticker of some kind.

Here's a place I found, that carries CF laminate. They offer a sample pack (couple of 2x3 inch pieces), along with a $5 coupon code, for ~$5 shipped, that I ordered a while back. Really neat stuff, it looks just like CF, even to the illusion of depth that the laminate has to it.

With this stuff, you could use aluminum or steel for the construction, then laminate it with the CF look, either entirely or in sections.

If you go to a hobby/rc store you should find some cf sticker sheets. they work real well and look very good. I used quite a bit on my mod. some pic's of the pc on this page. link below.

as long as you get stuff that actually looks like CF and not that budget tuner bullshit black/silver crap that they put on things at pep boys, you'll be ok.

the stuff on carsound(not the forum)/decalFX/toiletseat looks like pure garbage

I've worked with real CF a few times and its not actually that expensive. A yard can be had for around 20-30 bucks on ebay or through other sources. The resin typically costs around the same as well, maybe a bit more.

ya, but the problem is i don't know how to work with the real stuff, and this vinyl stuff seems pretty easy to manipulate.
