car subs to computer/laptop

i have a laptop asus c90s, and i have spare 12" sub and an amp and i would like to hook it up to my laptop does anyone here know how? i know people on hardforum has really fancy home threater set ups so i was wondering if anyone one the forum uses a car sub and amp instead of the home threater subs

If you want to use the car amp, you're going to have to convert your AC to 12-14V DC to power the amp. Then you'll need to use a stereo mini out of the laptop to right and left channel RCA to go into the amp. But then, what are you going to use for your highs and mids?
