Car/Computer Question...

Forgive my ignorance if this is in the wrong spot, I don't really know where it would go. I am about to install my amp and subs in my new car, so let me set up the story. In my old car the A/C didn't work so the windows were always down. When I got in I would pull down my back seat and expose the trunk. Mounted on the back of the seat was my amp and capacitor. Basically I never worried about the amp getting too hot because it was always getting air blown across it. Now with new car it has A/C, thank God, so I really won't need to pull down the back seat. Here is the question, finally. Can I wire two 120MM case fans and mount them on my amp? Could I just buy a couple fans and wire them into the power and ground of the amp so they are getting power? Doesn't a car and a computer run on 12A? Any help is appreciated I really don't want to fry my amp, seeing how money is pretty scarce these days and a couple case fans would be easy insurance.

Your trunk will probably heat up pretty quickly, so you'll just be circulating hot air over your amps. It won't hurt anything if you do it, though, so it doesn't really make any difference. BTW, cars run on 12 volts, not amps.
