Can someone help me out with an idiot-proof, step-by-step guide to capturing streaming audio?
For example, I'd like to capture the RM streams from http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4834385
I've tried using NetTransport, but I have no idea how to tell it that I don't need that page, I need a stream accessed via a javascript link on that page. Obviously I can't just copy and paste the javascript link into it.
Apologies if this is not the right forum; it seems to me to be more of a website/software issue than a computer audio question.
Any help is appreciated!
EDIT: nvm, figured it out In case this turns up in a search later, what I did was change my audio input to 'stereo mix' (from 'microphone') then used Audacity to record the whole thing.
