Hi there


I have a Canon 20D with a 24-70 L-series lens.


I do adult and non-adult photography, events, and hobby photography.


I have only ever caught 1 orb, and it was a spectacular one.


Anyone here have any good ones?
 
Yeah, circular white blobs on the camera that weren't there when you took the picture.


Most likely dust or something. However they are interesting because they are so rare.


I have an amazing orb picture that I took myself, but I was hoping to see if anyone else gets any weird orb pictures too.
 
Um I have no idea what you're talking about. if I had dust on my sensor, which I do, it is not fantastic....but pretty irritating. Why don't you show us what you're talking about, lens flare maybe?
 
Can you explain what is particularly amazing about that photo? I assume that if there were something amazing about it, it would be obvious, but I don't actually have any idea what you're talking about. :confused:

Yeah, has anyone else ever got anything like that?


I've taken soooooo many pics with this camera, and never got anything like that before. Also, I have asked a photographer who came to my building to document some vandalism ( long story ) who has been taking pics for 20+ years, and only 1 other time has he ever seen a picture like that.

Look in the lightened version, that while ball has a tail, and casts a shadow?
 
I though you were talking about those UFO things. They look like long skiny insects of some sort but they fly at like 100MPH. Never seen one but UFOtypes are up all over these things.

And the so called orbs that people think are ghosts are caused by the flash somehow reflecting on to the lens. But I have no idea what that thing you caught is. Maybe the sensor got some dust in front of it.
