Anyone seen him lately or know whats up with him? His last post was 11-20 and he's not been on since 12-7. :confused: I was going to give him a hard time about getting mowed, but it isn't any fun if he's not around to poke back at me. :rolleyes:
 
I was thinking the same thing actually, he was the last big ramp I remember watching (besides u Ax) and always tried to keep my numbers up on him
 
From what I know work is taking up most/all his time.

I think he does some sort of tech contracting. He was playing around with some of the paid-for versions of VMWare back before they opened player to 2+ cores. He said he needed the program for work so he could test it on folding for free. His big ramp was a result of getting a contract, perhaps he is busy supporting/implementing that contract or another.
 
Well he maybe be to busy to post but he is sure still cranking out some points. He just broke 800,000 BOINC points in WCG today. Congrats Capreppy!
 
Hey all. I have seen Ax on my threatlist and unfortunately can't do anything about it. The air in the top 20 is pretty thin and movement up (or down) doesn't occur very frequently. It's been a couple of weeks I think since the last time I passed anyone.

Yes work has been HELLISH. I've been working between 60 to 80 hours a week since sometime in June or July. Being paid by the hour helps motivate me to do the work, but have very little downtime. Downtime during week (in a hotel in Minneapolis, MN) is spent playing MW2 and the weekends at home (Fort Worth, TX) are spent with my wife.

Trying to pay off everything that we currently finance and hopefully next year I can slow down some. My rigs at home are still cranking away. I check on them periodically via www.logmein.com. Except for the occassional power outage (sometimes they don't come back up gracefully), my rigs are running 24/7 at home. I have moved 3 of my CPUs from Linux SMP over to WCG. I have always liked the stability of WCG and when I started to have problems with my Linux VM SMPs, I didn't hesitate and just moved them over. I do like how I can queue WUs as I don't always have an internet connection and I keep at least 3 days of WUs in my queue so even without internet they are cranking.

I am sorry that I'm not more active, but frankly been swamped and don't see that changing any time soon. I do check in occassionally and will make a consicous effort to check in more frequently.

Glad to hear that you're doing well there, Capreppy. Getting a little concerned since we hadn't heard anything for a while, but it sounds like you're doing fine (if not a bit overworked). Hang in there and drop in when you can...
