Cape Cora Passive Radiator...

Ok... Well another member here brought a passive radiator, the Cape Cora made by Alphacool, to my attention (well, I've known about it for awhile, but I just recently got interested). The thing is, well, the left side of my case is very boring, it's also the side of my case that can be seen from the rest of my apartment!

I'd love to mount one of the 4 tower ones on the left panel... And have the water barbs pass through the side of my case. In all reality, I'd probably only use 3 of the tubes as I could have it fit perfectly... Here's the deal though...

Running 3 of these tubes would require 4 90' elbow connectors. In all honestly, I could use a flare to increase the size of the elbow from 1/2" to 5/8" or 3/4" and a reducer to reduce the other side back down to 1/2". This should help with the flowrate... at least a bit (any thoughts on this)

But that still doesn't solve the issue of galvanic corrosion... Sure, this thing uses anodized aluminum, but even that doesn't prevent all electron migration. I wonder if I used a 10:90 solution of distilled water and pentosin orange (wee) if I could eliminate it alltogether... Thoughs on this?

I wonder if the risk of corrosion and the reduced flowrates (the tubes seem to use 10mm G1/4" connectors... my limited knowledge of fittings tells me that these are the ones used on most Danger Den waterblocks, am I wrong?) would be worth it... Would I see any passive cooling benefit. I guess, if I had to, I could run 2 more leads out of my res and use a really cheap and small fountain pump to push liquid through the radiator... My apartment is COLD.

The rest of my system is a Laing D5, DD TDX, BIP 240 Xflow and a Maze4 GPU block... not a very restrictive system if you ask me.

Over thwe past two years I've relaxed my personal ban on 90deg fittings just to make loop routing cleaner.
Then I moved down to 3/8" tubing stretched over 1/2" barbs (yeah, it ain't easy but it can be done).
No real impact on performance that I can see.
Granted, I'm not using calibrated/precision sensors or anything and yes, I'm certain there was a degradation of flowrate, but the difference had no real-world downside to my system.

I haven't gone over to the dark side completely...if there is a way to avoid such a fitting, I'll take it...but if you gotta, you gotta.
 
That's what I was thinking of doing, converting the 1/2" tube openings to 5/8" and using a 5/8" elbow to connect each radiator... I'd just like to avoid having to solder anything myself.

I guess the main issues now are,

where to find the bastards

how to prevent corrosion between all my copper things, and the radiator...

and the size of the T fittings that come with it... I'm sensing 8mm insides...
