I went to the Cape Cod Air Show this weekend and snapped some pics along the way. The weather didn't cooperate for a big chunk of the show, and the main act, the Thunderbirds, didn't get to do their entire performance because of a thick layer of haze, but other than that the show was fun. Here are some pics from the day:

Everything shot w/a Canon 350D, kit lens (statics), and Sigma 70-300 APO DG for the rest. No postprocessing, just resizing.

great pictures - too bad about the Thunderbirds but at least you guys had an airshow. How was the B2? I saw one do a flyover at Holloman AFB and it was silent and very ominous. I've always loved that bomber but airshows in general - I'm always up for them.

They have any Raptors?

The B-2 was awesome, very big, and very quiet when approaching you, when it passed you, however, very loud. When the B-2 came around, the cloud ceiling was still quite low, so we were treated to a couple of low passes of the B-2, which was great. No F-22s, unfortunately, there was one scheduled for static display, but it was a no-show. :(

You've got to come here for the Edwards AFB shows; we have all the neat toys. :D

Nice pictures! I've always enjoyed air-shows, but unfortunately I haven't been to any in years. There use to be an Air Force base about 2 hours from where I grew up, but was closed during Clinton's military scale-back. :(

My wife and I moved to a new location where we could easily drive to a larger air show then I've ever seen, but in the two years being here we haven't gone to it yet.
