Capcom going for COD crowd with Dead Rising 3

The changes that you can see in images were not a fluke. Capcom is pointedly trying to appeal to a wider audience in this latest iteration, saying they are going after the Call of Duty player.

This is what they did with Resident Evil 6 and after that debacle they then said that they were going to rethink the strategy and possibly return it to its roots.

This is not the reason I play Dead Rising.

I want Dead Rising for the wacky hijinks of killing as many zombies as possible in the strangest and most satisfying ways. I want bright colors and zaniness. Not this realistic crap. I'm not looking for a AAA version of State of Decay, here. I just want to shoot flaming ping pong balls at zeds as I cackle with glee.
