Hi, I have the Gigabyte MA790GP-DS4H. while installing the board my finger brushed one of the smaller blue-tipped capacitors and i heard a tiny popping noise. The capacitor is still on the board doesn't seem to have any more "wiggle" than the other ones like it on the board and windows runs fine. The only reason I'm concerned is b/c of all the horror stories I hear about mobos dying a couple of weeks after losing a cap. Is there something I could look for to see if it's going to be an issue? On a good note, Windows boots and runs okay so far? Maybe the pop came from something else while i was positioning a component. On this picture, it's the small blue cap next to the bios chips and sysfan1 on the right side of the board. Thoughts? Thanks.

It may have been the cap flicking back into place that made the noise.
Unless the cap is pretty loose, I doubt you will be able to tell if it is damaged.
If it works, use it, it may be fine.

Possible the cap had some charge in it, and by touching it you caused it to discharge. Very common prank in a physics lab (build up charge on a capacitor, leave it for another student to pick up and scare the hell out of). Not saying you shouldn't worry, but it may be nothing more than that.

I did that to a boss once who couldn't resist touching/rearranging all of the stuff on my desk. Needless to say he never touched anything again...

That was always a fun prank to pull on someone when I was in electronics school eons ago.
