Okay i got another backorder thing from BB this morning and i do not feel like waiting anymore, they said they expected to send it out today last week, now i got the dreaded your item is expected to be sent in the next 25 days, whatever that means. Where can i get a 6800GT right now off the internet? Anybody know a reliable source that will send it right away if i order it? thanks.
 
The last email I received from them also said my order would ship today. Now early this morning I received another email with the same message saying my order may ship within the next 25 days.

I'd say once you get the tracking # from Chumbo, though chumbo is a pretty reliable place so odds are its in stock and you got one.
 
I just called Best Buy and cancelled. i can't wait to get this card, hopefully i'll get a shipping email soon. Anyone else order from Chumbo? How's their service?
 
I also cancelled with best buy and ordered from Chumbo :)

Hopefully they won't go on backorder

This is where I got mine. They are great! Compulus is fast and their RMA policy (if you should need to use it) rocks the house! I'd buy from them again! I got the BFG 6800 GT OC and I couldn't be happier!!

I've got the eVGA and it rocks so far. Good quality, nice packaging/bundle/effort into the design, or so it seems. I like it so far.

eVGA and BFG are the two name brands people are going with I think. Mainly due to availability. However both offer great warranties. I've got the BFG 6800 GT OC.
 
just giving a nod to comp-u-plus as well. I decided last thursday i wanted the BFG card. Ordered it at 1PM right after lunch. paid for overnight so i could have it before the weekend and had the card the next morning.

Compuplus really pulled through this time. I got my card overnight for $412.00 about 1 month ago. The card I got was defective. They overnighted me a new card and I then sent the defective on back to them. Their RMA policy is pretty awesome as well!!

I'll for sure shop compuplus again!! Way to go!!
