I've got a workunit on one of my Ubuntu boxes that has finished but it can't connect to the server to send it in. I've checked Stanford's servers and the particular server is up and running. I've been trying the ./FAH504-Linuxe.exe -send all" command off and on for about 6 hours and no dice.

What can I do? Maybe I'll email it as an attachment to stanford... :)

I have no idea what Ubuntu is, but it sounds like a remote country where Rhinos and Elephants still roam the plains.

What does your fahlog.txt say is going on?

It's a Linux flavor. You shoud probably post your log file on here so we can see what is the problem.

Ubuntu = Linux.

The log says:

-Attempting to send to server
-Couldn't send HTTP request to server
-Could not connect to work server (results) (171.65.103.100:8080)
-Could not transmit unit 03 to Collection server; keeping in queue
-Failed to send all units to server

That's all I get for the past 6 hours or so.

I'll try to get the log file up. I just reinstalled my main computer so I've got to get Electron Microscope and all that configured again.

does the box even connect to the internet?

Argh.... I'm an idiot. I had unplugged it so I could use the box to wipe my raptors (Just upgraded my main rig) and I plugged the ethernet into the wrong port.

/smacks self.
Thanks everyone. I'll lock this thread.
