I just got a new 100 gig HD for extra storage. I just installed it and windows knows about it (installed drivers, recognize it, etc.) But I dont see it in My Computer.

All i see is the C, A, D, E drives. (D, E being my burner/dvd rom drives.

Dammnit, BIOS regconizes the HD, but I can't get access to it in DOS mode. I don't get it, I have access to it in windows.

Bro.. if you format a drive in NTFS, no more DOS access.

Any drive that needs to be seen by DOS (for access to files, anyways) needs to be FAT32.

One of the things we gave up with the migration to NT/Win2k/XP... good riddance! (although it does have its uses, aka bios flashing).

Good luck!

PS:

Damn, Ice Czar... I have been reading a lot of your posts lately... I am coming to the conclusion there is very little you don't know.

Nice, bro... good on ya.
