So, ive been on the hardforum for a few hours sifting through a few pages of BS and off topic nonsense when I feel the urge to join in, or perhaps add in my pearls of wisdom.

I hit reply, my 64k internet loads, the reply box comes up. But its greyed out. What is going on? closing mozilla, reloading it, wont work. restarting my pc wont do anything. I also get this same problem on another pc running mozilla.

It may just be a mozilla-thing, but being cut off from the hardforum isn't cool.

First of all, how did you post this? :p

The only thing I can think of is you might be running something that is rewriting the pages,b but is messing up somewhere. Are you running mozilla through any kind of rewriting proxy or something(such as privoxy)? Are textareas on other webpages working properly?
 
Like i said, only some threads. Usually the good ones that Im reading, then I try to reply and it doesnt work.

Im behind no firewall. I have windows xp SP2, disabling/enabling the firewall doesnt help. It may juts be that time of the month for mozilla. I would try internet explorer, but it crashes and freezes up constantly. Not sure why.
 
Try it now, I changed your message editor back to forum default......sometimes the WYSIWYG editor screws with the settings. Clear your forum cookies and give it a shot.

That would definitely be something that would frustrate me to no end. Nice job there on the fix.
