Can't Play DVDs after audio driver update

Guys, I've got a weird one. I recently updated the audio drivers on my 2nd PC and just started seeing this error message when using WMP 11 to play retail DVDs:

"Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card."

Now, being the smart guy I am, I said "That's bunk! I played this DVD just last week!". That's when I realized I updated the audio drivers for my Audigy2 ZS in order to fix a muted volume issue (audio was SUPER quiet and the newest drivers fix that). So, is it possible that the audio drivers are really the culprit here? It seems logical to me, since that's all I've changed, even though the error message doesn't say the problem could be caused by audio drivers.

Thoughts/ideas/solutions? Thanks!

No, it won't play the DVD at all. Well, it plays this intro part, but when it tries to go to the menu, or if you attempt to skip to a specific chapter, then you get the error message I posted above. It's very odd.
