i have a dell pc (2.0 ghz p4) and I know the problem is that the bios wont let me overclock, but is there anyway i can overclock without downloading some desktop oc program?
Question of the day (and I regret having to threadjack, but it's related):
Do programs like clockgen work to overclock systems with such limited bioses? I have an old P4 system that might just get some extra pts folding for me...
actually i dont mind u asking that question, but also can anyone link me to a good oc tutorial because i will be building a pc soon (1st build) and i dont know whether to get the x2 3800 or the 165 (monarch coupon makes it cheaper). another question is what ram, mobo, and PS would be best (2gb ram for less than 175 AR, SLI mobo, gettin either a 7900gt or 7600gt, good stable PS for less than 100 AR) for a slight 0.2-0.6 ghz OC?
