I'm having difficulty getting what I consider a simple preset to work.
I keep both my monitors fairly dark (I find it's easier on my eyes) at -25 on brightness from default levels. But when I watch a video or movie I like to have it back at 0.
I've tried to make presets with nothing but these changes - one preset is "Movies", one is "Normal" alt+9 and alt+12 respectively. My first mistake was saving it while under "advanced" in CCC. That only gave me a few lines in the profile .XML when I looked at it. I read that you should save them under "standard". I did this and had a page and a half of options, so that seemed good. Problem is neither preset works. I can hit them all day long and nothing happens.
I went into the .xml file hoping to get lucky and see a line like "Brightness=XX" so I could change it, but I didn't see one.
Could anyone help me out here? Or at try making a preset like this to see if I'm just that stupid?
Thanks.
Edit: Forgot to mention I was at 11.8 when I first tried it (no go) so I upgraded to 12.3, still no good.
