I'm using Windows Media Player 11 on my Vista x64 SP1 rig and I downloaded these Illiminable Directshow filters version 0.71.0946 that should let me play Ogg Vorbis, Ogg Speex, Ogg Theora, Ogg FLAC and native FLAC files on any Directshow player including WMP http://www.xiph.org/dshow/ I try playing some regular .ogg music files but everytime it crashes the player and I get the Windows Media Player has stopped working message. Is there something I'm missing here? I've only tried 10 files from the same source is there any other codec I need? I played the files in Media Player Classic another Directshow player and they played fine for me without any extra codecs either.
