I downloaded the newest nForce2 chipset drivers (3.13) from both guru3d and nvidia, and I can't seem to install them. It extracts into C:\NVIDIA fine, but as soon as the extracted files' setup file is executed, it shows the NVIDIA splash screen, and then closes.

Tried downloading a different version of the driver, but the download was corrupted.

Any ideas? Windows XP.

are all previous chipset/subsystem/video drivers uninstalled? i've heard nvidia's windows drivers are picky w/ this (no problems under linux for me)

If you're getting the unified drivers from nvidia, you should extract them to a different folder and run setup.exe from within that folder.

You may have luck that way. I've never had a problem and that's how I install them every time.
