Is there a way to make doom3 install on windows 2003 server? It tells me I need to have 2k or XP and then the installer terminates.

I dont wanna hear people bitchin about how this OS wasnt made for games, I just wanna know how to do it. I've played many games on 2k3 and never had a problem. Just seems kinda dumb to limit the game to 2k and XP.
